Why does the recording stop randomly?

"Please note
Recording has been stopped.
File has been saved."

Im losing priceless events Im trying to record because the recording turns off randomly after 2 minutes, or 23 minutes, or whatever.

What is going on? Help please!

Ill rate 5 stars if you can definitively fix this and assure it wont keep happening.

Its happened 2 dozen times randomly all day.
It doesnt seem to relate to free space, whether the ipod screen is on, whether its on in the background, etc.
