Doesnt work wast of your time makes u sound ugly

Its great. You can record in wav or mp3 or whatever. Its easy to use. You can see a level while recording. I know others complain there are no editing functions -- so what, there are other apps for that. I use this to record speakers at lectures or events. It works well and I do "post-production" (shorten or extract segments, as well as increase volume) on a desktop audio editor later. I have an old iphone4 and I can get this app for it -- now its getting harder to find apps that will retro back to older versions of IOS. And theres Dropbox, Google Drive and a bunch of other transfer options. I love it.

But with this one its different. A bunch of people in my band are using this app for recording demos during rehearsals. The app is constantly improving and thats a big plus. The reason why I am writing this review is that Ive just got iPhone six plus, and all the apps look awful on it. I was constantly checking AppStore to see updates and I was amazed to see this app releasing the update ahead of everyone else. Good job guys. One feature that I would like to request is the control of input signal so when it gets loud the mic doesnt get overloaded.

Cant establish onedrive cloud syncing. Blank dialogue page while trying to turn on connection to onedrive, Dropbox. After installing Dropbox app, Dropbox syncing works, but installing onedrive app had no effect.

"Please note Recording has been stopped. File has been saved." Im losing priceless events Im trying to record because the recording turns off randomly after 2 minutes, or 23 minutes, or whatever. What is going on? Help please! Ill rate 5 stars if you can definitively fix this and assure it wont keep happening. Its happened 2 dozen times randomly all day. It doesnt seem to relate to free space, whether the ipod screen is on, whether its on in the background, etc.

There are so many horrible recording apps, its refreshing that this is a good one. I particularly like that I can record in mp3 or uncompressed wav in high quality 24bit/48kHz! I also love that it supports iTunes File Sharing for easily transferring files to the computer. The only feature it needs is a view of waveform during recording, to help monitor signals over time rather than just instantaneously. Or, at least it needs stereo meters when using a stereo mic. I also wish it turned on my external mic when the app loads rather than when hitting record, since this startup can cause a pop in recording. Keep up the good work!

Works well with VoiceOver and easy to use.

I came to this app after one I had been using did not update for iOS 8. Now, Ive deleted all others. This works perfectly and has many nice touches. Love it.

The look is great, but more importantly, its a great recording app. It has A LOT of options for exporting. I like Google Drive. I really like all of the options this developer offers in his app. Really thinking about getting the premium version.

Does everything I could as for from an app! Records mp3, easily upload to my Google Drive (& into a specific directory within Google Drive!) Such a user-friendly alternative to iTunes. Edit / Trim sound files on the fly. Rename files before uploading! Or email sound files! TERRIFIC FREE PROGRAM!

Pretty impressive, great design in UI and functional layout. But the file management seems useless and enlarge the apps size. It would be more professional if focus on the recorder function.

By far the best free recording app available, even better than many of the apps youd typically pay for. Love the sound quality, and the dependability of the app. It wont stop recording for some unknown reason, and it still records while phone is on lock mode. Picks up voices easily and clearly. And any changes or tweaks you want to make can easily be found under settings. Perfect app for me, simple to use, reliable, and records long conversations, lectures, etc- also without the awkward "beep" sound in the beginning. I could go on and on. I hope more ppl try it, very surprised more ppl havent taken the time to rate this! Anyway, simply perfect :)

This app offers everything it says it does and its free. You dont have to download or pay extra for any of the features that other apps want you to pay this app gives you all of it for free! It even lets you save your recordings to your camera roll so you can put it in your computer. Well worth your time!!

1- can record in background, sleep mode, amd even while playing games! 2- records directly to mp3 with adjustable settings. 3- cloud services support. 4- Nice UI 5- No lame restrictions whatsoever. 6- The free version is not hollowed. Its free! I will definitely buy the premium app in the future.

I wanted an app that could record via a USB audio device via a Lightning Camera adapter, and this does that, but it exceeded my expectations beyond that. First, buying the premium version tells you exactly what you get, and the free apps menus already have some pretty advanced features. Being able to choose sample rate, file output type (from 5 standard types), and even choose your audio device (USB, Bluetooth, etc.) are all available and easy. Frankly, I am leaving this app such a glowing review partly because I got burned by other popular apps where I had to pay before seeing what the features are, only to find that it didnt do what I wanted. RecorderHQ does the opposite, and I appreciate it. I dont really like the aesthetic of the UI, but that is a trivial detail for such a strong app.

Ive used this app in tandem with my lapel mics and its awesome so far. Taking the recording from my phone to Audacity and Pro Tools was easy to do. Nothing was lost in transfer, you can hear some noise in the audio, but if you know how to clean it up in Post its not much of a problem. I have a iPhone 6 Plus and havent had any issues with it yet. If your planning to use any of the recordings in a podcast or video, be aware that some minor clean up will be needed. Otherwise, great for a free app!
